Andrew Martin charmed his audience at the Westdale Theatre matinee with his humor, sentimental stories, and a voice that has won him seven music awards, including International Artist of the Year. This was the second time in 2019 that I saw Andrew Martin in concert. The first time was in April, 2019, when a group of SIDEBURNS Magazine followers went to see Andrew in his “Revolution” show at the Seneca Queen in Niagara Falls. Both shows were fantastic, and for different reasons. At the Seneca Queen, the beat of the rock songs that Andrew performed had many of us dancing in the aisles. In the December, 2019, show, the audience who came to see Andrew in his “Crooner’s Christmas” show were treated to Christmas songs in the style of Rat Pack greats, Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra, with a twist of Michael Buble. The stunning musical styling of Andrew Martin filled the Westdale Theatre with true Christmas spirit. I have included recordings of Andrew singing much loved Christmas songs from his CDs that are available for purchase on his website. When happy days return post CoVid, I hope to see many of you at Andrew’s shows. In the meantime, please enjoy the recordings. Andrew’s voice is guaranteed to lift your spirits!

Thank you to Cathy Wood for offering me her ticket to see Andrew’s Christmas show. It was a great way to start last year’s Christmas season. I look forward to a time when we can sit side by side and enjoy another one of Andrew Martin’s great performances.
